- Gerald (Gerry) Bouey has held several impressive roles within the financial services industry. From
an individual contributor to a Manager and Vice President within the Asset Management line of
business, at a large financial services firm, He began his impressive career in business over 37 years
ago. Along with holding several key management positions within the financial services industry,
Gerry excelled, from managing operations, quality, customer service, training, to staff functions in
technology. Gerry has effectively led groups as large as 350 individuals, to being an individual
contributor, managing strategic firm-wide change projects.
Gerry has served as an internal consultant, executive coach, strategist, for over 20 years. He has
facilitated change initiatives, quality programs, customer satisfaction initiatives, team-building
workshops, diversity and inclusion interventions and was sought out internally and externally for
his insights. He is certified in a variety of psychometric instruments, which he utilizes in managing
teams, coaching one-on-one, and in a number of leadership developmental efforts.
Gerry currently operates a consulting practice allowing him to fulfill a lifelong passion of “igniting”
human potential, compassion, and greatness, with individuals, teams, organizations and
communities. His key area of interest centers on transformational leadership, positive psychology,
and the engagement of the whole person, leveraged with the thoughtful use of technology.
Gerry has membership in the Society of Organizational Learning, the International Positive
Psychology Association, the International Coaches Federation, as well as being actively involved in
the Chicago Coaches Federation. He is a past board member of the Midwest Eye Banks, and a
current board member of the Illinois Eye Bank. Additionally, Gerry currently serves as President of
the Plainfield Lion’s Club..
Gerry has earned a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Social and Community Studies, as well as a
Masters Degree of Arts, in Organizational Leadership, both from Lewis University. He also holds a
Business Management certification, as well as a NASD Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, along
with a host of Leadership Development certifications.
