Why Do Black Men Marry and Date Outside of Their Ethnicity?

In looking at these pictures I notice that a lot of brothers are now dating white women and Asian women, and there’s nothing wrong with that because when two people are in love, their skin color shouldn’t matter.
HOWEVER, IS THIS “EPIDEMIC” OR IS IT GOING TOWARDS THAT WAY? I have a list of 177 couples but there is not enough room to list them all--from the rich/wealthy and famous, rappers and it includes a few civil rights leaders: Scottie Pippen of the Chicago Bulls with;; his wife; . Wesley Snipes and his family; Civil Rights Leader Julian Bond, and his wife; Danny Glover and his wife; Rapper ICE T with his wife, and son; Comedian, actor David Alan Grier and his wife; Montell Williams and his wife; James Earl Jones and his wife; Attorney Vernon Jordan and his wife (He's Bill Clinton's Advisor); Black Playwright August Wilson and his wife; Boston Celtics Coach Doc Rivers and his wife;Michael Jordan and his fiancée and SO ON... .
Some women are terribly pissed after seeing this however; we all know why don't we! OR DO WE! IT SEEMS TO ALWAYS BE THE BLACK MEN WITH MONEY!
WHAT ABOUT OUR BLACK CHILDREN AND THE IMAGE OF THE “BLACK FAMILY?” DO THEY EVEN THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN?
There’s a lot of FRICTION between Black men and Black women. We can lie to ourselves and pretend that the problem is not there, or we can do something to try and address this problem. What I’m trying to do is create a dialogue, so that we can take a look at this problem AND STOP TALKING ABOUT THE EFFECT AND LOOK AT THE CAUSE AND WORK TOWARDS COMING UP WITH A SOLUTION THAT IS FEASIBLE!.
These are some good brothers, there’s no question about that, but I’ve often heard Black men complain about Black women’s hot temper, and their attitude. HOWEVER, I AM A FEMALE AND I KNOW THAT THE “WRATH/FURY” OF A WOMAN IS A NATURE WITHIN ANY FEMALE, NO MATTER WHAT THEIR ETHNICITY IS! I DON’T KNOW WHERE “SOME” BROTHERS GET THE IDEA BRANDING “BLACK WOMEN!“ ONLY WITH THIS “BEHAVIOR!”

There is a video out called What Black Men Think that helps to put at least the statistics in order regarding Interracial marriages between black men and other races. Second, what we focuses on expands tremendously. When the focus was on Jungle Fever, curiosity sponsored dating, sex, children, marriage etc. Maybe we could focus on those marriages that are working between black couples. I really wouldn't want to put anyone on the defense for their choices of whom they marry or choose to date. Nor do I consider their choices problems. This view point could definitely cause some communication problems distancing us further from our cause. I am sure that they have to deal with all that comes with making the choice to date outside of their race. We surely don't own the media outlets that blast us daily with what the optimal idea of beauty is either, but we are surely affected by them. The Curse Of Willie Lynch is wearing off, but still has some effects on our psyche. Who knows the whys of what others do. Me? Well, I just put it in the words of Marcus Garvey, Be Black, Buy Black, Think Black, and everything else will take care of itself.

WELL WE DON'T KNOW OUR HISTORY & THE MEDIA PLAY A BIG PART TOO. WE NEED TO LOVE OUR SISTER AGAIN BECAUSE THE WHITE WOMAN DON'T LOVE THE ONLY LOVE WHAT WE COULD GIVE THEM & SEPARATE OUR FAMILIES JUST LIKE YEARS AGO.BLACKMAN WAKE UP PLEASE BRING OUR SISTERS BACK AND SISTERS YOUR HAVE TO WORK WITH US . THATS THE ONLY WAY WE MAKE THE FAMILIES STRONG AND THE CHILDREN & BROTHERS &SISTERS LETS STUDY TOGETHER WITH THE CHILDREN TOO . PEACE TO ALL MY BRO& SIS.
